Who Are We?
We are a Montana business serving Montanans for 60 years. Blue Cross was founded in 1940,
offering prepaid health plans to cover hospital expenses. In 1946, Blue Shield was
established to cover physician services. The two separate plans joined in 1986 as Blue
Cross and Blue Shield of Montana (BCBSMT) offering a full spectrum of health care
coverage.

New West Health Services is Montana's second largest domestic health insurance company.
Our headquarters are located in Helena, Montana, with regional offices in Billings, Havre,
Kalispell, and Missoula. Operations began in early 1998 and since then we've created
partnerships with over 1,300 medical providers and over 33,000 members employed by more
than 900 individual businesses.

New West Health Plan a Division of New West Health Services, an Indemnity line of products
called Health Connections, and four Innovations PPO plans.
